Shannon McLeod is a Senior Planner in the Maritime Division at WSP USA Inc. Ms. McLeod has provided project management and technical direction on maritime and intermodal planning and supply chain initiatives that benefit public agencies, ports, freight railroads, and other private clients for more than 20 years. She is the lead developer and a primary author of the Port Planning and Investment Toolkit sponsored by the American Association of Port Authorities (AAPA) and the US Maritime Administration.

Ms. McLeod has a master’s degree in maritime, ports and logistics management from Old Dominion University. She is the incoming chair of the Ports and Channels Committee of the Transportation Research Board and an active candidate in the AAPA Port Professional Manager Certification Program for the Class of 2023.
